Conflict Resolution Classes

Dates:     May 11th, May 18th, and May 25th
Time:      4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where:   Media Center, Lower Level of the Ortonville Library

Please call the EDA to register for this free class (for 3 sessions) at 839-2612!

Classes will be for three weeks – 1 ½ hours per class x 3 classes – and would cover the following:

 Dealing with challenging customers.
      PowerPoint, discussion & problem solving in groups

 Handling conflict within the workplace (co-workers, management, employees) 
      PowerPoint, discussion & case studies

 Developing internal policies for prevention & training.  Motivating tips for success.
      PowerPoint, discussion & analysis

Note:  These class opportunities are supported through the collaboration of Ortonville Community ED, Ortonville EDA and Minnesota West Community & Technical College with funding provided by the SW Adult Basic Eduction (ABE)!  (thank you Carman!)

Entrepreneur Education Opportunities

Entrepreneur Education Opportunities – Monthly consultations and classes will be offered in Ortonville on the First Tuesday of each month – Starting in April!   This opportunity is provided by the Southwest Initiative Foundation with Big Stone Area Growth & the Ortonville EDA.   No Cost; however, registration is requested.

Customer Service Classes

Customer Service at the Media Center

 Great attendance for the Customer Service classes being held on Tuesday’s at the Media Center!  Although not all could fit in the picture – there were 19 in attendance. 

There may be another class offered (more in depth Conflict Resolution) in the near future.  Watch for details!

These classes are offered FREE to all participants through Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Update!

The first Customer Service class was held today and we had a great turn out!  Everyone is still welcome to come!  The next three weeks on Tuesdays – class runs from 11:30 to 1:00 and includes a “working” lunch!

CNA Class started on Monday and is full!  There are funds available for another “free” class if there are more that are interested in taking the class.

CNA Classes in Ortonville – Free

Customer Service Classes in Ortonville – Free!

The SW Adult Basic Education (ABE) will be providing a Customer Service class in Ortonville – free to your employees!
